My husband and I got married the day before my birthday. The next morning, I think I was hoping for something super romantic. The gift Jason presented was a beautiful study Bible in a rugged, practical cover. I was looking for something that would not have lasted, but he was caring for my soul and the rest of my life. I adjusted my definition of romance that day, expanded it to beyond what Hallmark offers! I still have that Bible, and even though the spine is showing it’s age, the cover holds it together. How can we truly love and care for those around us? My husband is such a a good giver of meaningful gifts, one of the many ways he challenges and compliments my weaknesses.
1 John 4:11-12 ESV Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and his love is perfected in us.
