I almost always know what God has planned for me next because He very graciously tells me ahead of time. But then I want to go to the next step immediately, even though I and/or the other people involved in the next step might not be ready yet. One of the questions I have for Heaven is why my husband and I were living in the same small town, Elizabethton, Tennessee, for a year and a half before we met? I’m sure Paul wondered the same thing as he sat under house arrest for two years in Caesarea for two years when God had told him he would testify for the Gospel in Rome. If Paul still had things to learn and God was moving pieces into place for his next step, then why can’t I be patient!! So, I am working on being patient and learning and serving while I wait to see when or if my next adventure will come.

Acts 23:11 The following night the Lord stood near Paul and said, “Take courage! As you have testified about me in Jerusalem, so you must also testify in Rome.”
