I am continuing with my quilt. I laid out all the squares on my living room floor to make sure I liked how it looked and had to cut out 30 more gray squares because math has never been my best thing. I sewed the first row together- only 29 to go!

I started a small project to work on when I can’t use my sew machine, a fun bookmark. I printed out a free bookmark from Pinterest here: https://pin.it/1AA8pW27w

I traced it onto a piece of linen using my cheap little light board because I am even worse at drawing than I am at math. I have embroidered the book case and now I am ready to stitch the books. I am going to outline them with back stitches first, and then maybe try out some of the fancy stitches in a book I have to decorate the book spines.

What do you think of my projects? What are you making?

You may not be good at Math but you certainly are creative. That quilt is going to be stunning

You the quilt pieces on your living room floor. I’m going to guess that you don’t have a dog or cat.🤪

I am looking forward to seeing the bookish bookmark when finished.

Ha, we do have a dog, but I had just vacuumed and put a flat sheet down.

Love the projects! I’ve gotten slack on projects and probably will be worse with Spring here!
