Bedside Books

I am continuing my 80 books around the world tour. I finished The Secret River from Australia and have moved on to Russia with The Cancer Ward by Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn. The Secret River is a wild story of what the main character is willing to do to make his dream a reality.

The Cancer Ward is an allegory to describe what was wrong with the Soviet Union. It is an intriguing collection of characters so far.
