“To serve God is nothing else than to maintain and preserve justice by good works.” Lactantius

This takes courage! Here is what Google said about this man, if you are like me and had never heard of him before:

“Lucius Caecilius Firmianus Lactantius (c. 250 – c. 325) was a prominent early Christian author, rhetorician, and advisor to Emperor Constantine I, known as the “Christian Cicero” for his elegant Latin style. He defended Christianity against pagan critics and tutored Constantine’s son, Crispus, bridging classical culture and Christian doctrine in the early 4th century.”

If you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all.

    Is it kind?

    Is it true?

    Is it necessary?

Love it! We did the THINK acronym: true, helpful, inspiring, necessary, kind.

I like that, especially “helpful.” “Inspiring” is nice, but I don’t think everything that we say will be inspiring.🤷‍♀️

I agree, and not everything we have to do is inspiring, it just needs to be done.
