As a Bible quizzer in high school, I memorized Romans. I probably understood about half of it at the time 😉
One verse I particularly struggled with was Romans 1:20 NIV: For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.
This verse didn’t seem fair, not enough to make people seek God on their own.
That summer I got to take a whirlwind trip to Europe, including Lake Lucerne. As I stared at the Swiss Alps, I understood. Such wild beauty, so very different from anything I had seen before, could only point to an Artist.
Since then, I have loved looking for wild creativity in nature. I spent half of last week in Colorado Springs, which is not anything like the view of cornfields I am used to.
I mean, in this picture, cactus is growing under a pine tree!

I decided to see how many different colors I could find on our various hikes.

What is most wild natural place you have visited? How has God shown you His creativity?
