This week I tried a different sort of creation. My mint plant has been loving our cooler, wetter weather and I have been trying to drink more water, so I put the two together.

I picked 10 leaves and gently crushed them as Google suggested.

I put them in water in the refrigerator for an hour, and it really did make my water taste like mint tea. I will definitely be doing this again!

What are you making? What are you growing? What is your favorite way to stay hydrated?

I see you have your mint in a pot–smart woman! I have a few pots out–squash, tomatoes, basil, and bell pepper. They are struggling in the high winds along with high temps. Your mint water sounds refreshing.

Sounds like a tasty garden! Hoping they survive the weather.
