My husband’s extended family loves to go camping every year, but it has never been my favorite thing. Between my allergies and still having to do everything I do at home for meals in a more challenging space, I just don’t love it.

So I asked God one year to help me enjoy it more, then I ran across this verse in a Bible study. And I thought of this verse every time I went in or out of our tent, and to look for some beauty of creation.

Genesis 15:5 NIV
He took him outside and said, “Look up at the sky and count the stars—if indeed you can count them.” Then he said to him, “So shall your offspring be.”
