I needed a road trip craft, and I chose these crochet rings. I made a chain of around 15 stitches, depending on the thickness of the yarn. I used size 1, 2, and crochet thread. I made three rows of single crochet stitch, then knotted and buried the ends. They are addictive!

I also wanted to try out quilt as you go English paper piecing. I made the inner hexie and the batting hexie 3/4″, and the outer hexie 1.25″ If you are curious about these, I found a great tutorial here: https://pin.it/6inSr5vGK   I plan to sew these hexagons into a coaster when they are done.

The only completed one is on the bottom row, 2nd to the left.

What are you making? What should I do with my quilted hexagons?

Those rings look very interesting. I am crocheting holders to put reusable plastic bags in and pull them out the bottom
