I am moving along slowly but surely with quilting my quilt, with 9 of the 55 rows done. I also decided to make a different quilt label. The first one I was trying to do was just too intricate and complicated for me. Does anyone else do this to themselves? Here is my new one, just 7 English paper pieces hexagons and a little bit of embroidery, made with blues to match the quilt backing.

I am also having fun with my quilt-as-you-go hexagons, and I think I am going to try to make a small blanket out of them for my mom, who loves green. Do you have any other ideas for these cute little hexagons.

My daughter also painted her senior parking spot. She free-handed the F-16 and the letters, a talent that I don’t possess. What are you creating?

Senior Parking Spot–times have certainly changed. I shared a car with my mom and felt blessed. A lot of kids have so many more things, but don’t seem to appreciate them.

Very true! Our daughter shares with us. My hubby currently has a work car, which makes it easier.
