I started with what I’m fairly sure is a machine-embroidered handkerchief. This is a picture of the back of the design:

This made me feel a little better about cutting it to bookmark size.

I decided to add a willow tree, my favorite tree, and I think this is my favorite embroidery. Here are the steps to creating it.

And then I couldn’t resist making one more crochet pumpkin, a baby one this time.
