I’ve started working on a weekly reset each Saturday night. There are lots of samples on Pinterest, with a variety of questions. This is my favorite so far:

I chose to do this on Saturday nights because that is the night I struggle with sleep the most. The joy and stress of us children’s ministry volunteer coordinators is that we never quite know what is going to happen on Sunday mornings. You would think that by now I would have learned that God has it under control. Choosing to focus on Him, gratitude, and what I can control should help me sleep!
Do you do anything like this? Is there anything that I can pray for you about that keeps you from sleeping?
My other goal for these Monday posts is to give a writing update, mostly to keep myself accountable. I am working on my rough draft for my first fiction book, an historical fiction romance that probably fits best in young adult.
My goal for this week is to finish this round of editing, then be bold enough to hand out a couple of copies to be read. The writing group I am a part of is meeting next Monday evening, and will be a perfect chance to ask for some readers.
What are your goals for the week?
